There was a tugging at my heart

The weight of it overwhelming me

Tugging me, filling everything

An all-consuming love

With the eyes if a miracle

Such a delicate bundle

Oblivious to everything she knows nothing

But she is an emotional storm beyond words

That’s why they flock to glimpse her face

Her hands the size of a coin holding hearts

A shock that blindsides anytime, anywhere

Everytime, everywhere

There’s nothing that can prepare you

To love someone that much

Purity, Preciousness

Someone you don’t know anything about

Someone you’ve known for a few minutes

Who you’d do anything for

I felt it with everything in me,

It reshaped my whole heart

I think the dynamic between a mother and child is amazing. For this poem, I was inspired by a reality tv show birth because it was so incredibly moving I had a dream about it right after. Recently, I’ve enjoyed recording my very vivid dreams, thanks to inspiration from Taylor B. Thank you so much for reading it!
