I didn’t come this far

To only come this far

I came this far

So I could never stop

I didn’t climb the ladder

So I could stand on the top rung

I climbed the ladder

So I could reach higher

So if you have a problem with ambition

Don’t worry, I’ll be high above you soon.

I know the finish line was here

But I moved it farther, higher, forward.

I’m not done when you say I’m done

I’m done when I say I’m done

Don’t hold your breath for that day to come

The ocean is more than like a lake

A river is more than a faucet

And I am more than anyone thought I could be.
