Honor the goddess,

Faithful and honest.

Make a few mistakes,

And figure them out.

Rest a hand on my waist,

And pull me in much closer

Close your fingers around my hips,

And pull me as close as you dare

Because I think you want the fire,

I hope you love it as much as I do.

Even if I erased all the lies we hide,

Would the love still be there,

If you want it or you don't,

Would you get up and get it anyway?

Sorry to be such an inconvenience,

But you and I are such beautiful creatures

I wanted to know if we can be.

You’re something I’ve never seen

And pieces of me keep screaming for me,

Even when I’m angry and we’re leaving

I wish it would stay as it was.

I don’t need a man, I’m more in control

But if I love you, it’s mostly because I can’t

So you better not be onto the next

I might just be the one that got away-

But, man, I wish I wish I wish you would stay.

Because I’d let you see the real me

And I never meant to get caught up in all the things you say

But I want to know, I want to know, I want to know

I’ll give you some time, breathe in, breathe out

Folded up like origami, it all gets crazy shady

Drafting love letters, throwing them away

Because what I’m feeling is nothing pretty words can say

But I still wish you knew I find peace in you

One touch and you could dive in my ocean,

But you’d find it moves like a glacier

Can’t help it if I hate remembering labels

But what do you know, you’ve been losing focus,

There’s a lot you never notice, you keep me waiting

That’s why I lose faith in you, it starts to feel like a mistake

There’s still a lot of sorrow lurking beneath the surface

It feels so hard when it looks so easy, no, no, no

Is it too late to go back to the respect we lost? No,

Did you plan to take a taste and skip the meal,

Or did you plan on the meal before you took a taste,

Because I’ve been wondering what changed your mind

And I realized that maybe it’s just how it works

If you’ve never had to live in a woman’s world.

Yes, a woman’s world- where the ocean meets the sky.
