Sorry Not Sorry
I won’t apologize if you get blinded
Trying to chase after me-
The diamond you left in the dust
So long ago she’s an antique now
It was your force that sent this bridge
Crashing under the sea
But I turned into a mermaid and got to work
On cleaning off the silt while you wore a suit
So now the diamond you left in the dust
Is shunting, she’s on display, she’s glorious
And she’s singing her song, not one for you.
For once she’s not sorry.
