Girls aren’t pretty

When they cry

There is beauty

In vulnerability

And symbolic tears

But they ain’t pretty

When a girl cries

It is not pretty at all

The hurting is never

Something to admire

Like some modern art

When a girl really cries

She can’t cry pretty.
