I Love You But You Make Me Empty II
Not Anymore
If I can never be whole again
Then, my old love, neither can you
As long as it comforts me
I don’t need it to be true
If my tears drying kills off part of me
Than the smoke clearing will end part of you
As long as if makes me whole again
I don’t really need it to be true
If it’s over for you,
Then it’s over for me
So it’s only fair
That I’m not whole anymore
So you’re not whole anymore.
A huge thanks to all those of you reading, especially if you also read (or will read, I have faith in you) the first part of this poem, published separately earlier today.
